Best PGDM Colleges in Delhi NCR: Complete 2026 Rankings, Fees & Admission Guide

Best PGDM Colleges in Delhi NCR

dozens of AICTE-approved institutes, but their rankings, fees and admission routes are scattered across different websites. This guide puts them side by side, using NIRF 2025 data and each institute’s latest published fee information, so you can build a shortlist for the 2027–29 batch.

Quick Answer: Based on NIRF 2025, the latest published management ranking, MDI Gurgaon (rank 9) leads PGDM colleges in Delhi NCR, followed by IMT Ghaziabad (30), IMI Delhi (40), Jaipuria Noida (41), FORE (59), BIMTECH (61) and NDIM Delhi (86). Total fees run from about ₹14 lakh to ₹27 lakh. Most admit through CAT, XAT or GMAT scores plus a group discussion and interview. Confirm fees and cutoffs on each official site before applying.

Disclosure: This article is published by New Delhi Institute of Management (NDIM). NDIM is included, and every institute is judged with the same public sources, including where NDIM ranks below others.

How We Selected These PGDM Colleges

A college made this list if it met four tests:

  • It offers an AICTE-approved, full-time two-year PGDM.
  • It appears in the NIRF 2025 Management top 100.
  • It is based in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida or Ghaziabad.
  • It has published a recent fee figure we could verify.

We left out IIT Delhi, IIFT, Jamia Millia Islamia, Amity Noida, GGSIPU and BML Munjal. They rank in the same NIRF table, but they award MBA degrees through IIT, central, state or deemed-university routes rather than PGDM diplomas.

One timing note: as of early October 2026, NIRF 2025 was still the most recent published management ranking, and the 2026 edition had not been announced. Check nirfindia.org for updates, because positions can shift.

PGDM vs MBA: Does the Difference Matter?

A PGDM is a diploma awarded by an autonomous institute approved by AICTE. An MBA is a degree awarded by a university. In practice, employers treat both as management qualifications, and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) grants MBA equivalence to many PGDM programmes. The equivalence is granted institute by institute, so confirm it on the college’s own approval page. For example, NDIM lists its AICTE approval and AIU equivalence publicly.

PGDM colleges often update their curriculum faster, since they are not tied to a university syllabus cycle. That flexibility is the main practical difference you will notice.

How to Read These Rankings

Rank is a useful filter, but it is not a verdict. Three things are worth knowing:

  1. The weighting favours institutional scale. For 2025, teaching and resources carried 40% of the score, research 20%, graduation outcomes 15%, outreach 15% and peer perception 10% (Careers360, 2025). Research output counts for twice as much as graduation outcomes, which rewards bigger, research-active institutions.
  2. Participation is voluntary. A college that does not submit data does not appear, so absence from the list says nothing about quality.
  3. Trends tell you more than a single year. MDI moved from 13 to 11 to 9 across 2023–2025. IMT Ghaziabad went from 38 to 35 to 30. NDIM went from 99 to 88 to 86. FORE improved from 63 to 53 in 2024, then slipped to 59.

PGDM College Snapshots

MDI Gurgaon

The highest-ranked private management institute in the 2025 NIRF list. It offers PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-International Business and PGDM-Business Analytics. Admission for the 2026–28 batch ran through CAT 2025 scores, followed by group discussion and interview. The application deadline last cycle was 28 November 2025, so expect a similar window for 2027–29.

IMT Ghaziabad

Moved up five places in 2025. Its PGDM tracks include Marketing, Financial Management and Banking & Financial Services, plus a Dual Country Programme. Secondary sources report XAT cutoffs of roughly 85–90+ percentile, so treat it as a competitive target.

IMI Delhi

Offers PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM-BFS on a trimester system. Its published 2026–28 academic fee is ₹23.54 lakh, which excludes hostel and mess.

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida

Ranked 41, up from 45 in 2024. Its website describes it as AACSB-accredited and offers merit scholarships for the 2026–28 batch. It is one of the more affordable options among the higher-ranked colleges.

FORE School of Management

Runs four PGDM programmes: General, International Business, Financial Management and Big Data Analytics. The fee includes an international immersion programme. Its stated minimum for 2026–28 is 85 percentile in CAT.

BIMTECH, Greater Noida

Offers PGDM Core, International Business, Insurance Business Management and Retail Management. Its 2026–28 tuition is ₹14 lakh for Core and IB, and ₹13 lakh for the other two. One secondary source lists a minimum shortlisting cutoff of 75 percentile (2025–27 reference).

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon

Ranked 50, with a strong focus on analytics and technology roles. Fees vary by programme length and format, so check its current brochure.

NDIM Delhi

NDIM is a full-time, two-year PGDM institute in the Tughlakabad Institutional Area, New Delhi. It is AICTE-approved, and its website reports NBA accreditation and AIU equivalence to an MBA. Students choose dual specialisations such as Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, HR, Operations & Supply Chain, International Business and Digital Marketing. You can see the full structure on the NDIM PGDM programme page.

At rank 86, NDIM sits lower in the NIRF table than the colleges above. Its case is built on fee, industry exposure and early placements rather than rank. NDIM reports over 250 recruiters each year, 354 corporate mentors and 8,000+ alumni. It also states that its 100% placement record was verified by the Advertising Standards Council of India. These are institute-reported figures, so ask for batch-wise placement data and read the placements page alongside them.

PGDM Fees in Delhi NCR: What You Will Actually Pay

Fees below are approximate totals for the full two-year programme. Where we found an official page, we say so. Otherwise the figure comes from aggregators and may differ from the current brochure.

BIMTECH~₹14 lakh2026–28Tuition for Core and IB; hostel treatment varies by source
NDIM Delhi₹14 lakh2027–29₹7 lakh per year; official fee page

NDIM’s official figure comes from its fee and scholarships page. It adds a ₹6,000 annual convenience charge if you pay semester-wise, and notes that hostel and international study tours are optional extras. Hostel rooms with twin sharing start at ₹11,000 per month (institute-reported), which works out to roughly ₹2.6 lakh over 24 months at the starting rate.

What the Fee Usually Excludes

Before comparing totals, check whether each college includes or excludes:

  • Hostel, mess and local travel
  • GST on tuition
  • Refundable deposits and alumni fees
  • International study tours or exchange programmes
  • Laptop, books and certification charges

A Simple Return-on-Investment Check

Divide the total fee by the average package, not the highest. As an illustration only (not any institute’s data), a ₹14 lakh programme with an average package of ₹8 lakh costs about 1.75 years of gross salary. A ₹26 lakh programme would need an average near ₹15 lakh to match that ratio. Always ask each college for its median and average figures, plus the number of students placed.

Admission Guide for PGDM in Delhi NCR (2027–29 Batch)

Eligibility

Most colleges ask for a bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 50% marks. NDIM, for example, requires 50% for general candidates and 45% for reserved categories, and accepts final-year students awaiting results. See its eligibility and procedure page.

Entrance Exams and Key Dates

  • CAT 2026: Scheduled for 29 November 2026, conducted by IIM Indore. Registration was set to close on 15 September 2026, so check iimcat.ac.in for any revision.
  • XAT 2027: Registration was listed as open until early December 2026 (secondary source). Confirm at xatonline.in.
  • Other accepted scores: GMAT, CMAT and MAT are accepted by several colleges. NDIM considers CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT or state entrance tests.

If you missed CAT registration, you still have options. Several of the colleges above accept XAT, GMAT, CMAT or MAT.

Selection Process

Expect a shortlist based on your exam score, then a group discussion, personal interview and sometimes a written ability test. Final selection usually blends academics, work experience and profile. NDIM’s process weighs graduation, Class 12 and Class 10 marks, entrance score, GD-PI performance and achievements such as leadership or community service. Its application fee is ₹1,000.

Step-by-Step Timeline

  1. Now to December 2026: Write CAT, then register for XAT, CMAT or MAT if needed.
  2. December 2026 to February 2027: Submit applications. Early deadlines, like MDI’s last cycle, fall in late November.
  3. January to March 2027: CAT results arrive and GD-PI rounds begin.
  4. March to May 2027: Offers, fee payment and scholarship decisions.
  5. June to July 2027: Programme orientation and joining.

Dates shift by year, so treat this as a planning frame and verify on each admissions page. You can apply to NDIM through its admissions portal.

Scholarships and Education Loans

Most institutes offer merit scholarships linked to entrance percentile and academic record. NDIM states a ₹2.5 crore pool for scholarships and rebates, including categories such as defence wards, siblings of students and alumni, and students from J&K and the Northeast. Jaipuria advertises ₹10 crore in merit scholarships across its campuses for 2026–28. Banks such as SBI, PNB and Axis offer education loans to admitted students.

How to Choose the Right PGDM College in Delhi NCR

Use rank to build a shortlist of five or six colleges, then decide using these checks:

  • AICTE approval and AIU equivalence: Verify both on the college’s official page and on the AICTE site.
  • Specialisation fit: Check whether your target area (analytics, finance, marketing, HR) is a full programme or a short elective.
  • Placement transparency: Prefer colleges that publish batch-wise averages, medians and recruiter lists.
  • Location and commute: Delhi, Gurugram and Noida campuses differ widely in travel time and hostel cost.
  • Total cost, not tuition: Add hostel and living costs for both years.
  • Industry exposure: Look for live projects, internships and mentoring that start early.

Which Profile Fits Where

  • High CAT or XAT percentile, premium brand priority: Start with MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad and IMI Delhi.
  • Finance or analytics focus: Compare FORE’s FM and Big Data Analytics tracks with Great Lakes Gurgaon and NDIM’s dual-specialisation options.
  • Fee-sensitive with a moderate score: BIMTECH, Jaipuria Noida and NDIM sit at the lower end of the fee range.
  • Prefer a smaller cohort with heavy corporate contact: Ask NDIM and others about mentoring ratios and internship schedules. You can also browse NDIM’s specialisations.
