Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing)
Marketing has always been one of the extremely popular career destinations for Management Students. NDIM recognizes this fact and is therefore widely known for its PGDM Marketing Specialization.
The PGDM Course (Marketing) at NDIM is a 2-year, Full-Time course that is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The course was also granted MBA equivalence from AICTE in 2008 and Accreditation by ASIC, UK since 2014.
The Programme equips its participants with fundamental marketing management skills and in-depth knowledge of building customer-centric organizations. Based on the way the marketing functions are evolving and keeping in view the need for ever changing strategies, the programme covers core marketing courses and a choice of contemporary elective courses. The programme is challenging as a large part of the learning is based on applied research, live projects and internships, class-room conceptualization, case studies and quizzes.
Besides studying core marketing, functional area & strategy courses, participants study innovative PGDM courses in Digital Marketing, Event Marketing, Rural Marketing, Green Marketing, Marketing of Financial Products, Luxury Marketing and Media & Communication. With the Academic advisory council comprising of 101 professionals from top brands and the academic world, the regularly updated industry focused curriculum and pedagogy prepare the students for managerial and leadership responsibilities.
Marketing students are actively involved in organizing several events under the aegis of the Marketing Club which organizes national level inter-college branding competitions to showcase and polish their marketing skills. More than 20 Top brands of India sponsor these events in various forms. Marketing Club also designs and publishes an e-Magazine, where students contribute their articles and get an insight into what is happening in the business world. The e-Magazine analyses more than 30 top Indian and International brands thereby fostering a better conceptual understanding of their functioning.
As is the case with every course at NDIM, this programme also offers Dual specialization and involves an active mix of class-room learning supplemented with constant practical exposure and growth. Students regularly attend guest lectures, conferences, seminars, workshops, simulation exercises with the Industry specialists and pursue live projects, summer and winter internships. Several modules are fully taught by the recruiters at the campus. All NDIM students also undergo continuous corporate skilling and grooming from day one to ensure they excel interviews not only in academics but also on the requisite corporate skills & business etiquettes.
