He did all this before co-founding Fashion and You in 2009 a coveted fashion and luxury brands e-commerce store.

On Hiring tip, he was of the opinion of retaining talent and to motivate by innovation, who have out-of the-box thinking. He confirmed his willingness to be associated with NDIM and engage students in various projects and activities and would explore various avenues of collaboration.

Pawan Gupta, Co-founder, Curofy at NDIM

He said entrepreneurship is a long term commitment and needs planning as much as possible at the beginning. While hiring, it’s better to wait for the right person than settling for less than ideal person. NDIM students interacted with him and asked their queries. Colleges of Delhi namely, North& South campus colleges of Delhi University, private institutions of Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad. Almost 400 students from 26 different colleges participated in the event Inauguration The Program was inaugurated by Faculty members and students wherein hydrogen gas filled balloons were flown to mark the occasion.

Football, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket and Volley ball were the sports held on 12thFeb at Jasola Sports complex and Table Tennis, Tug of war, Pool, Carom, Chess, Tug of War, Kho-Kho held on 13th Feb at NDIM-Tughlakabad Campus

Key Points

Sports meet aimed at imparting lessons on sportsman spirit. It is not only playing opportunities which are presented and offered, coaching roles were also being offered to different teams for motivation Trophies & medals were bagged by aspiring students from different colleges and NDIM. The event ended with cheerful note and filled with promises for the young and aspiring sports enthusiasts.

On hiring the right people in her company, she is of the view to put them through the test by giving them a few tasks that they will be responsible for and see how well they perform. NDIM students and faculty gained intellectual stimulation by listening to her best and innovative practices. She expressed her willingness for live projects for NDIM students.

Purpose                          To understand how a warehouse operates

Learnings

ITC runs two warehouses – one for fresh garments and the other for return garments. Students learnt how fresh garments arriving from suppliers are checked and then put on racks. They are then picked and packed for shipping to retailers. Similarly, they learnt how return garments are rectified and then send back to different types of stores

Learnings

Design of the factory based on international standards and special care was taken while designing to maintain the highest level of hygiene standards and deliver the best product to its consumers. The process of making Yakult is completely automated and there is no human touch at any stage.
