Department of Business Analytics & Data Sciences

According to a study by International Data Corporation (IDC), by 2020, the world is set to generate 50 times the amount of data as in 2011.

Recent studies have highlighted that the current data output is 2.5 quintillion bytes of data daily. Due to exponential growth of data, most of the business organization need to invest in the data gathering and data analysis tools to keep pace with its competitors.

Data science and machine learning jobs will continue to grow for the foreseeable future. As per the McKinsey Global Institute estimates the US could have as many as 250,000 open data science jobs by 2024. To meet the analytical skill manpower gap companies needs to train their current officers or to hire new manpower with analytical skills.

The rising demand for data scientists has created a talent gap that can be bridged by facilitating Workshops/MDPs/Executive Programs that aim to build strong foundation of data science concepts and machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling.
