Well designed, fully equipped, modern and spacious class rooms mark NDIM's contemporary culture. The Institute's Class Room Complex has large Lecture Halls and Multimedia Halls. There are 15 air-conditioned / classrooms, with different seating capacity. Each classroom is equipped with Over-Head Projectors, LCD Projectors, Laptops and Personal Address System with Collar Mike etc. for effective use of faculty and the students. Two separate computer class rooms are available with multi-media facilities for presentations and hi-tech classes. To enhance and energize the quality of lectures, tutorials, seminars and other academic exercises and to break the monotony of class room sessions, the Centre has a comprehensive audio-visual set up complete with LCD Projector, OHP, Slide Projectors, Movie Projectors, along with a vast collection of video cassettes, CDs and DVDs for use of students and faculty members.
NDIM hostel is located half-a-km from the Institute. Fully furnished rooms are provided on twin-sharing basis to the students. The rooms are well ventilated & air-conditioned with attached bathrooms. Essential facilities like computer centre with internet connectivity, functional library, gymnasium, room with indoor games and STD/ISD are provided. Transportation facility is also available back and forth between the campus and the hostel.
In order to provide practical skills and competencies required for handling future roles in competitive world of Business, NDIM has established fully air-conditioned, state-of-the-art Computer Research Centre (NCRC) which is linked to the rest of the world with its leased Lines for doing net based research and data Mining. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The infrastructure consists of various networked computer labs interconnected with Local Area Networks (LAN) having servers operating on Windows Based Advanced Server & LINUX. NCRC is equipped with useful management related Softwares such as SPSS which support research endeavors by students and faculty. The Centre is also having NAS Storage, Firewall, Network Printer and Scanners which are integrated in LAN to optimize the utilization of the available resources.
The in-house medical facility comprises of basic amenities providing treatment by specialized medical staff within the campus. Highly qualified senior Physician & Cardiologist Dr. Shashi Mohan, MRCP (U.K) who is our full time medical consultant is also available 24/7 on call. In course of one year at least 4 health camps are organized at the Institute. In these health camps specialists like Dentists, Ophthalmologist, Dietician etc. participate to recommend necessary medical advice to our Students and Staff Members. Tie-up arrangements with Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre ensure prompt and full range of medical services. Administration of insecticides is done to ensure clean & hygienic ambience avoiding several health hazards.
Sports and Recreational
The students have access to a gymnasium and facilities are available for sports like cricket, badminton, table tennis, etc. The sports centre caters to the recreational needs of the students by providing a host of indoor games such as chess, carom, scrabble, etc
The library has fully integrated library management system LsEase which is an off shoot of Libsys, the most popular and widely used library software in the country, with the help of which the students & faculty can search the books, journals etc. by the Author name, title of the books etc. thereby easing the search in the library. All the library staff is trained to use the software package. Library has subscribed an online database "EMERALD" for the use of students and faculty. It consists of 150 full text journals along with case study collection, interview collection, book review collection & literature review collection. The library has subscribed 129 magazines/ journals and 14 newspapers; in addition library gets 101 journals on exchange from other management institutions. The Library has 73 online journals which help the students & faculty to use journals from its inception and is connected with LAN & WAN. The library is linked to Developing Library Network (DELNET) which gives an access to 1412 (1393 National & 19 International) Libraries and offers approximately 62 lakh books, journals, articles video records, sound recording and CD – ROMs. The Network helps in locating documents not held in the library and it procures them on loan. The library is maintained by a team of qualified and experienced professional staff who provides full assistance to the students and also helps them to find the information through a vast collection of reading materials as well as a multitude of remote databases and electronic resources
